Lagoon 52S: elegance, comfort and safety
The 52 brand really marks a new stage in the design of cruising catamarans, like its predecessor, the famous 500. If the diamond-shaped vertical ribs, beveled helmet shapes, the lift and the sleek platform of the 52nd already announce a little color, their originality does not stop with their "look" outside nor to their conditioning. inside In fact, this lagoon is the result of long reflections by the architects Van Peteghem-Lauriot Prévost (VPLP), the Italian Nauta Design and the Lagoon project office. The important and sometimes radical choices that led us to these reflections reflect our convictions, in terms of elegance, comfort, safety, ease of use and of course ... navigation performance.
Luxurious and contemporary
Noble and luxurious materials, with soft nuances for a harmonious interior Horizontal and fluid lines for open spaces and generous volumes A permanent link between the interior and exterior life A slender outer line for a boat of character
Elegance, comfort and security
Easy and safe access to the boat thanks to open back skirts On the bridge, wide bridges with integrated bridge panels The cockpit, at the same level as the cabin, has an outdoor lounge and solarium on the starboard side Access to the fly bridge either by a staircase from the bath or by another from the deck to the starboard The rudder console is a tiltable type with 3 positions (starboard, center or port) to always have a perfect visibility to navigate or during maneuvers.
The cabin includes the salon and service table on the starboard side, the large larboard kitchen that forms a large "U" and the chart table located in the center, facing the sea.
The "U" kitchen is equipped with large hotplates, large work surfaces and a large storage capacity. Circulation in the cabin, between the kitchen and the living room, optimized
All cabins offer a large double bed and ample storage space to meet the vessel's height schedule and, of course, a separate bathroom with separate shower
The cabins benefit from incomparable natural lighting thanks to fixed hull goggles and excellent ventilation thanks to their deck hatches and sliding portholes in the hull or cockpit.
PERFORMANCE AND EASE OF USE
The choice to retract the mast, directly from the VPLP experience in competition, has many advantages over a cruising catamaran:
- a large front triangle for a choice of essential sails: performance guarantee the shorter arrow makes maneuvering easier
- the mainsail, wider at the top, benefits from undisturbed winds for a real gain in performance
- the readjustment of the weight of the rig considerably reduces the height of the boat
